Hello from Primary 6/7,

This week we have been continuing our modelling block where we are revising the comprehension skill, Inference. We have been working alongside an English teacher, Mrs McLean from St Ambrose who has been very impressed with the work we are producing. She is working with us as part of the transition programme. Here is an example of our work where children are writing detailed answers based on their text.

 

As Burns night is looming, we have been learning about the life of Robert Burns. Today we will be producing portraits of Robert Burns using oil pastels and pencil.

 

As as our golden time activity this week we worked alongside a boxing coach to learn the skills and movements required in boxing. We had a great time and a few of us even saw ourselves as the next Charlie Flynn! We learned that boxing is not about fighting, but skill, discipline and agility.
