This week Primary 5/6 enjoyed a very interesting visit from our local MSP Fulton MacGregor . It was very interesting to listen to him as he explained a typical week in the life of an MSP and he was only to delighted to answer all of our questions .
In class we have been trying to develop our mental maths skills through completing daily maths challenges and using a variety of interactive ICT games . We have been learning how to tell the time using the 12 and 24 hour clock and have started learning about division .
We have enjoyed using Topmarks website to develop key skills .
This term we are learning about the planet we live on – Earth . This week we worked collaboratively within our groups to discuss what we know already about our new topic and we also formulated some fantastic key questions about what we would like to learn.
