Primary 6

Primary 6 have had an eventful time since coming back to school after the October Week!

We had the privilege of a tour of the Cathedral from the pupils of Our Lady’s High School. From this we learned lots about all of the other schools in the Motherwell Diocese and were educated on ‘The Icon – Jesus as the teacher’, which was in the Cathedral at the time we visited.

We had so much fun during our Halloween activity afternoon where we watched a Halloween film, made skeletons from cotton buds and dooked for apples!

Our class has also led First Thursday Mass this term. The readers were excellent, speaking clearly and confidently and the whole class were good role models for the younger children. Well done Primary 6!

We have started our new IDL theme ‘World War Two’ and we are thoroughly enjoying it! Everyone has so many questions about it and we have learned so much already. We can’t wait to find out more about it.
