An Update from Primary 5B

Primary 5B have had lots of fun since returning to school after the October break. Let us share some of the highlights with you!

On Halloween, we loved taking the opportunity to dress up for our fun filled activity afternoon in class. We had lots of fun ‘dooking’ for apples and performing some spooky experiments! We created a chemical reaction which resulted in our own spooky lava lamps! 👨‍🔬👩‍🔬

We have also been learning lots about our sensory organs and how they keep the body safe. Miss Robb, who is working with our class this term, planned some fun practical activities to help us to investigate what happens when different senses are in some way impaired. It was definitely very tricky to tell the difference between a piece of apple and a piece of potato without the sense of smell!

Please take a peek at our pictures and look out for us on the St Brendan’s newsfeed this term!
