Good morning everyone.
We are at the last full week of term now.
I have made a VC for you but it is a little different.
Click on the date on the Whiteboard as usual and you will access a booklet for the end of term.
When you open the booklet, there a re a wide variety of tasks for you to do. You can choose what you want to do on each day. Just click the GO button beside the task you choose.
Also in the VC there are lots of other things to explore – every object takes you to a different activity.
You will see that the Altar has changed for the month of June as this is the month of the Sacred Heart. Click on the Sacred Heart picture and the cross to find out more. There is also a bible story in the bible.
Explore this VC and let me know what you do!

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

I have attached an activity booklet for this week and have added it to Glow, too. When you open the booklet you will see that there are lots of different activity choices including art, numeracy, crafts etc. To take part in an activity you click on the ‘go’ beside your activity of choice and it will take you directly to it.

End of Term Activity Booklet

Each day, choose any 2 activities to complete. This will be a nice way to start to unwind at the end of term and I hope you enjoy the activities.

Good morning everyone, today we are sticking with the sports day theme!

Taught Writing – Sports Day Recount

• Your task today is to write a recount of yesterday’s St Bart’s virtual sports day.
• In a recount you are writing in the past tense.
• You need to write in paragraphs to separate your writing.
• You can give each paragraph a title if you like and you can use paragraph openers such as first, then and finally as you will see on your template.

Sports Day Comprehension

• Open the comprehension folder on glow and click on Sports Day.
• Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that follow.
• Remember to answer in full sentences where appropriate.

Maths – The Mystery of the Sports Day Trophy

• Today’s maths is a problem solving activity.
• There are lots of activities within the challenge for you to try.
• Each one will give you the answer to a clue and at the end you should be able to work out who the trophy thief is. Good luck!

The Sumdog challenge is still ongoing. Remember to login and have a go, we need at least five players to enter.

Art – Medal or Mascot Competition

• I have given you a choice of taking part in either the sports day medal competition or the sports day mascot competition.
• You can choose to enter one or both of the competitions.
• The winner will be announced at the end of the day.

Hi Primary 3!

I hope you had a fantastic sports day- it looks like you have had a lot of fun! Remember if you haven’t taken part in sports day and would like to, you can still do this tomorrow and send pictures. I will count the points after school tomorrow and will announce our house winners on Monday!

I have uploaded a final virtual classroom for tomorrow. On Fun Friday you can choose as many or as little tasks as you would like. From next week I will be putting up a fun interactive activity booklet.
