Happy Wednesday, Feisty Fives!
Let’s begin with our morning prayer…
God our Father, as we prepare to begin our work today, help us to use properly the many gifts you have given us so that we may fully benefit from our day together. Amen.

Task 1
As I said earlier, sometimes we use the same collective noun for different things – and you can see some examples above.
Your tasks is to find two different things for each of the following collective nouns. Don’t use any of the examples we have already used.
- A flock of ___________.
- A nest of____________.
- A school of ____________.
- A team of ____________.
- A troop of ____________.
- A herd of ____________.
- A colony of ____________.
- A band of ____________.
Task 2
Collective nouns can make us imagine some very silly pictures.
Did you know that a group of lizards is called a lounge of lizards? Or that if you look up into the trees that you might see a murder of crows?
Have a look at the images below to see how an artist imagined the examples above!
A lounge of Lizards A murder of crows
Over to you….please select a collective noun of your choice and create a picture to illustrate. Please ask an adult to email it to me…let’s see if we can create a gallery of collective nouns!

On Sunday the Primary 4 children were supposed to celebrating their First Holy Communion. Sadly this will not take place. I thought that it might be an idea for you to write a short prayer to let them know that you are thinking of them at this time.
If you write and decorate your prayer and send it to me, I’ll ask the P.4 teachers to post all of the prayers on their blogs.
I think that you’ve all worked very hard today…so time for a rest and some relaxation!
See you tomorrow!
