Primary 7 spent some time with Mrs Barrie from St Ambrose High School today as part of their transition to high school later this year. The children were able to ask questions on anything that was worrying them and found out more about the type of work they would be doing when they get there. We have lots of excited children but we know we still have a lot of work to do before we get there.
Financial Education in P7
Primary 7 worked with Shelly from Money Advice Scotland earlier this week where they learned the importance of managing money when it comes to household bills. The boys and girls looked at running costs for a house and were really surprised at how expensive things were. We hope they shared some of their money saving learning with you when they came home.
More Solo Talks in P7
The children of primary 7 have been presenting a solo talk on a subject of their own choice with wonderful knowledge being displayed. We have some confident individuals in primary 7. Well done boys and girls.
Fishy update from Room 15
Room 15 had a visit from our scientist, Willie, today. It was our first visit from him since we got our trout eggs last week. Willie was very impressed that we have only lost 4 and has said that we should see them starting to hatch soon. We are very excited to meet our little alevins. He’ll be back next week to check in with us again!
