Foodbank Appeal
Over the next few weeks P7 will organise and collect support for this appeal. If you have anything you would like to donate please hand in anytime/give to your child. P7’s will visit classes on a Friday and collect any donations. Thanks in advance of your support.
Wear It Yellow Walk
Primary 7 pupils were issued with a letter today reminding them they are going to the Wear Yellow Walk on 5th June (next Wed). This letter asks that the children bring a packed lunch that day or order a snack to go as they will be away for most of the day.
Pupils have been asked to obtain sponsorship from family and friends for this event to raise funds for St Andrews Hospice therefore your support in this regard would be very much appreciated.

Wider Achievement
We love sharing news about Wider Achievement so are delighted to share with you the news that this young lady competed for Scotland in a British National Gymnastics Competition at the weekend.
We are so proud to let you know that she did amazingly well as she finished as the top Scottish Gymnast in the event and was 2nd of all the gymnasts competing from across the UK in one of the disciplines. Absolutely fantastic! We can’t wait to congratulate her at our assembly tomorrow.
Summer Fair
Wear it Yellow Walk
Our primary 7 children will take part in the 6k Wear it Yellow Walk at Strathclyde Park on 5th June.
This is a great day organised by St Andrews Hospice each year for Primary 7’s where they meet children from all over the authority, usually bumping into friends they have made at their high school transition days.
By taking part we therefore look to support the hospice by way of sponsorship for this event. Our P7s were recently issued with sponsorship forms and are encouraged to return these before the event. Any sponsor monies can also be handed in before and after the event.

York Trip
The children returned to the school on Wednesday evening – exhausted after an exciting few days sightseeing in York and visiting Flamingoland. The children were excellent ambassadors for the school throughout their stay and were a real credit to themselves, their families and the school. It was a delight to spend a few days in their company.
Schoenstatt Retreat
