Pr.3 at Sportshall Athletics
We done to our Pr.3 pupils from Room 10 who attended the sportshall athletics event at Airdrie Leisure Centre. ‘They were a credit to the school’ reported Mr.O’Dowd.
Daffodil Tea
Daffodil Tea takes place Thursday 30th March at 10.00am. All funds raised on the day go to Marie Curie. Pr.7, Room 8 are leading this event.

Easter Bonnet Parade 11.00am Pr.1 – 3. Parents invited Whole School Assembly pm. Pr.1 – 3 parade and results of Easter Egg Competition. Pr.4 – 7 are invited to bring in a boiled egg(s) to decorate in class in the morning ready to exhibit for the competition in the afternoon. Children may bring in props to assist. Prizes for each class winners. Developing Professional Judgement around a level – Mrs. Drummond 1.30 – 4.30pm |

Mrs. Gillooly finishing up for maternity leave. We wish her well. One of our long standing staff members, cleaner Jean Marie will be finishing up today and setting off for a new life in Stornoway!!! We wish her well and hope she has lots of warm clothing for the harsh winters that lie ahead. We are sure it won’t be too bad as the place is stunning and will be a delight to wake up to every morning School closes – 2.30pm . WE WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY HOLIDAY!!!! |
Parent Consultation
Many thanks to all parents who took the time to complete our annual Parental Questionnaire that gathers your views about the school and helps direct our ongoing improvement agenda. Talent Show Stars
We already know there is a wealth of talent at St.Augustine’s and today proved to be no exception with a host of talent on display from Pr. 1 – 7. Check out our slide show to get a glimpse of the action!
St.Augustine’s Dance Troupe
Congratulations to our wonderful dance troupe who performed at the North Lanarkshire Dance Festival at St.Ambrose H.S. on Wednesday evening. They were outstanding and gave a rousing performance. Our great team came in joint 4th which really was a wonderful achievement. They were a credit to our school!!!
