Our very successful paired reading sessions are well underway with Pr. 7 and Pr.2 pupils working together and reading for enjoyment. Their faces say it all. Great work children!
Celebrating with Seasons for Growth
Several of our pupils undertook work with Mrs.Elliott and Seasons for Growth to support them with their feelings of personal loss. Here they are celebrating after they completed their support programme.
What happened on our Growth Mindset Day?
We started off our school day with a whole school Growth Mindset Assembly. The pictures show that it was highly interactive and informative. Scott, the leader, then worked with classes from Pr. 4 – 7 throughout the day delivering workshops that focussed children on developing a growth mindset in comparison to having a fixed mindset. As a school we have a clear vision in regard of raising children’s aspirations so that they can achieve and be all they can be with effort and determination.
Growth Mindset Day
On Thursday the whole school will join together for a special assembly on Growth Mindset. The team will also work with classes from Pr. 4 – 7 throughout the day and will then have a chat with staff after the school day. Parents are invited to attend an information evening in the school hall 6.00pm – 7.00pm.
Celebrating Success
This morning Mrs.Elliott hosted an assembly for the boys and girls of Pr.1 – 4. Constable Maxwell joined everyone to talk about Stranger Danger and was desperate to join the photoshoot at the end of the assembly.

The school was represented by outstanding talent today at Sporthall Athletics. Our children were absolutely fantastic and showed a great team attitude. A great time was had by all. We are very proud of you all boys and girls 🌟
Pr. 1 Anti- Bullying Week
This week the boys and girls of Pr. 1 were learning about our anti-bullying message and took the theme of winter as a context for their learning. Their winter gloves were all different, just like we are. All different but all equal.
