Some of our pupils got to go to Parkhead today courtesy of The Kano Foundation. We had a wonderful day despite the result. Our children were fabulous ambassadors of the school. Well done everyone. Thanks goes to Joe Bradley for organising this for us.
Science Experiments in P7
As part of our transition work P7 got to work with Mrs Slevin and Mrs Walker from St Ambrose to carry out some science expiriments. We got to share our knowledge and our visitors were very impressed on just how much we knew. We can’t wait for next week.
Wind Turbines in P7
Primary 7 had a special guest today visiting from Strathclyde University so took the opportunity of showing off their wonderful knowledge on sustainability. The children worked in cooperative groups to investigate the workings of a wind turbine. Mr Hart was very impressed with the knowledge shared and fantastic team work. Superstars indeed.
Solo Talks in P7
Some of our confident individuals in P7 presented a solo talk to their peers today on the career they would like to have when they are older. Superb presentation skills displayed, everyone looked so natural. Well done boys and girls.
Litter Patrol
These wonderful ambassadors have taken it upon themselves to reduce the litter in the yard. They patrol at break and lunch and encourage people to put their litter in the bin. They have taken their position very seriously and are a great example to follow. Well done everyone.

Our wonderful children shone this afternoon at the school talent show. Superb performances from across the school. We had magic, singing, dancing, gymnastics, musical instruments and even a flash mob! Our judging panel had tough decisions to make on winners because everyone who
took part were superstars. Well done boys and girls for being brave and performing in front of the whole school.
