What’s on this Week?

This week is a big week for our Pr. 7 pupils who will visit St.Ambrose for their two day Induction. Pr. 7 are asked to wear sports wear on Monday as they will attend PE. lessons.  Pupils must remember to bring along their Young Scot Cards.  Lunch will be provided.  We are confident Pr.7 will love this experience and that it prepares them for their move in August.  Pupils make their own way to the school. The school is sure to be a very quiet place without them.

COMMITTEE MEETING

Sunflower Tea

Our Sunflower Tea was a huge success on Friday with a great turn out of parents and grandparents.  We even had to put out more seating,  get more milk, sugar and shortbread.  It was all worth the effort as everyone enjoyed the fabulous singing from the pupils of Pr. 1 – 3.  A staggering £381.99 was raised for St.Andrew’s Hospice. A huge sum of money.  Many thanks to everyone for your great generosity on Friday.

P7 Trip to Barony Hall and People’s Palace

The sun was shining today as Primary 7 visited Barony Hall in Glasgow to see the Scottish Engineering Awards Finalists exhibition as two of our wonderful students were shortlisted for their design idea.

Afterwards we went down to Glasgow Green and visited the People’s Palace and got to have a picnic in the park before some fun.  We had a great day out.

Sunflower Tea

Our annual Sunflower Tea will take place tomorrow at 10.30am in aid of St.Andrew’s Hospice.  Our Pr. 1 – 3 pupils will join parents and grandparents to provide entertainment at 11.00am (15 minutes earlier than quoted in the newsletter).  The children have really practiced so you won’t want to miss them.  They are stars in the making.
