Infant Registration
Registration for infant beginners for Session 2019/2020 will take place week commencing Monday 14th January to Friday 18th January. Please contact the school office in person or by telephone on 01236 632090 to make an appointment to register your child. Your child’s birth certificate, Baptismal certificate (if possible), and proof of address (in the form of your council tax bill) must be produced at the time of registration. The school would like you to assist by bringing this notice to the attention of family members, neighbours and friends who have children of school age due to start school.
Arrangements for Last Day
The final day of term is fast approaching. The whole school will attend Holy Mass at 10.00am in St.Augustine’s Church. Parents and grandparents are welcome to join us. The school is happy for children to be collected by parents and grandparents after the service if desired. The school will close at 2.30pm.

Our assembly this morning was full of awards. Well done to those boys and girls recognised by their teachers this week. Keep up the fantastic effort we are very proud of you.
Congratulations to our Primary 6 Spanish Ambassadors who have worked hard over the last few weeks and visited classes to share and practise their Spanish knowledge -you are superstars!
Finally, well done to Room 8 who won the best line award this week.

What’s on this Week?
A busy week still lies ahead for the pupils and staff of St.Augustine’s as we continue to prepare for Christmas throughout this season of Advent. Parties are the main focus for children this week so please take a note of dates and pick up times. On the day of your child’s party they may be picked up from the main foyer at 12.00. Please ensure you come to the school entrance to pick up your child as they will not be allowed to make their own way home at that time. Please return your child for 1.20pm.

Christmas Show Afternoon Performance
Thank you once again to our school community for coming to see the children perform yesterday afternoon. We hope you were entertained by our singing, acting and joke telling. We really enjoyed presenting our sketches to you.
