Foodbank Appeal
Thank you very much to those who have already supported our Foodbank appeal. We will continue to collect items until next Friday so please donate if you are able to.
SPORTS DAY 2019
Weather permitting our Annual Sports Day will take place on Tuesday 11th June. Pr. 1 – 3 Sports Day will commence at 10.15am with school gates opening from 10.00am to accommodate all parents and grandparents. Please note the children will have their break from 9.45 – 10.00am.
Lunch will take place from 12.00 – 12.45
Pr.4 – 7 Sports Afternoon will commence at 1.00pm. Gates for all parents and grandparents will open directly after lunchtime has finished.
Parental involvement is always encouraged so come with your running shoes!!

SUNFLOWER TEA
Parents and grandparents are invited to our anual Sunflower Tea on Thursday morning. Doors open at 10.30am. Pupils from Pr.1 – 3 will provide entertainment. All donations will go towards St.Andrew’s Hospice and school funds.
End of Month Assembly
Our whole school gathered together on Friday to review our achievements and success for May. Our monthly Maths, Art and Writing awards were given out – well done to all our award winners!
We took time to celebrate some very successful events and to congratulate many of our children for wider achievement. It is a delight to share news like this in front of the whole school.
We also invited Kelly along from Marie Curie to receive our cheque for the recent Daffodil Tea. She was delighted to receive our cheque for £528.44.
Summer Fair
Thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising and running the Summer Fair on Saturday. We raised a fantastic £1575! Well done everyone!
Careers Fair
Our Careers Fair last week was a great success, very much enjoyed by all in attendance. We heard from many local businesses about their line of work, any specific training required to do certain jobs and how sometimes the job you plan to do is not the one you end up doing. We learned how many skills you can develop in life are transferable. Thank you for coming to work with us.
Foodbank Appeal
Over the next few weeks P7 will organise and collect support for this appeal. If you have anything you would like to donate please hand in anytime/give to your child. P7’s will visit classes on a Friday and collect any donations. Thanks in advance of your support.
