images-4BOOK FAIR – This week we have the Book Fair joining us for the week.  Books will be available for purchase throughout the school week and also at our parents evenings.

Work Experience students from St.Ambrose will join the school this week.  We hope they enjoy their experience and it makes them consider a highly rewarding career in teaching.

Please note that due to teacher absence three classes will have their parents evening postponed until sometime after the October break.  Pupils in Mrs.McLean (Pr.2), Mr.O’Dowd (Pr.3) and Mrs.Murray’s (Pr.6) class are affected. Friday Assembly

Our Friday assembly updated the school community in regard of the variety of activities that the school community have been involved with since the start of term.  Our Pupil Voice Groups gave an update in regard of their plans for the months ahead with the new Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of each committee addressing the assembly.  Lynsey Morrison from St.Andrew’s Hospice spoke to the school about the work of the Hospice and congratulated the school for raising over £16,400 over the past years.  Quite an astonishing sum of money.  This was the first assembly presented by our new group of Captains and Vice Captains and this did a fantastic job.  Very polished and professional indeed.  Well done to everyone!
