Netball Party
Our dedicated netballers enjoyed a party with Mrs. Elliott to celebrate the end of another successful competitive year. Our netball team has went for strength to strength this year thanks to Mrs.Elliott. We say goodbye to our Pr.7 stars but are confident the Pr. 6 team are ready to take on the challenge for next session.
Growth Mindset – Pr.7
The boys and girls of Pr.7 will be working with Albion Rovers coach Tony McMin on a programme that will focus upon developing a growth mindset and football skills. The programme will involve six lessons over the next few weeks. We look forward to hearing the children’s evaluation of the programme in six weeks time. Here is a slideshow from their first afternoon.
The Big Lorry
During our Health Week last week we had a number of visitors not least a visit from a monster truck that focused upon child safety around large vehicles. The children learned a great deal about blind spots and how these large vehicles maneouvre around corners. A very worthwhile and education visit.
Drama in Room 7

Kilbowie – some more pictures from Day 2
We are delighted to see that you are keeping track of all the activities we are getting up to at Kilbowie. Tonight we paid a visit to Oban. A short stretch of the legs took us back to the centre in time for an early night!!!! An optimistic thought.
Silver for Syria
Our Pupil Council have responded to the current crisis involving the refugees from Syria who are looking to find a safe place to live away from war. They are working in partnership with St.Ambrose High School to raise money for refugees through their Silver for Syria Campaign. Children were informed of the campaign at today’s assembly thanks to the presentation from Francesca Marcucilli (Pr.5). Children are asked to donate any silver to make a giant silver heart. We will post pictures to show the progess of the campaign as it unfolds.
