Pr.3 at Sportshall Athletics
We done to our Pr.3 pupils from Room 10 who attended the sportshall athletics event at Airdrie Leisure Centre. ‘They were a credit to the school’ reported Mr.O’Dowd.
First Reconciliation
Please remember our Pr. 3 pupils and parents in your prayers this week as the children prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 7.00pm. Father Kane kindly requests that all children are in school uniform and are seated in the church for 6.45pm.
Literacy Assembly – Pr.1 – 3
Our Literacy Assembly for the pupils of Pr.1 – 3 brought to a close our focus fortnight on reading for enjoyment and creative writing. Children across the school were inspired to be authors and illustrators of their own books. Pr.1 – 3 pupils got a chance to share their stories with their parents on Friday and the rest of the school will share their stories with their peers next week. Our book fair remains in the school for a few days next week giving everyone a chance to buy a new book. A £1.00 book voucher is available to all pupils. Primary 3 News
The boys and girls of Room 10 have been busy working on their mind maps as they create the characters for their own book they are writing for Literacy Week. We are looking forward to the completed stories.
Room 3 wanted to show off their artistic skills as they replicate the image of the Eygptian Pyramids.

Communications Team
Our Infant Communication Team learned about the work of Rabbie Burns. They made information posters and treated the infant classes to a rendition My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose. Tae Kwon Do Taster Sessions
Last week the boys and girls experienced taster sessions for boxercise , today it was the turn of Tae Kwon Do. Our slideshow below shows our children hard at work.
Communication Committee
Our Infant Communcations Team were busy at work during their committee meeting making posters about their up and coming Christmas Party.
