Generation Science -Pr. 1 and 2

Generation Science made a return visit to the school on Monday to perform their show titled Day and Night.  It was most entertaining and had the children learning in a fun an novel way all about day and night.  They will return in a few weeks to perform to the rest of our Pr. 2 pupils and to Pr. 3.  Many thanks to the PTA who are funding these wonderful workshops.

Looking for signs of Spring

P2 had a ball enjoying being outdoors this week.  They were hunting for signs of Spring using their 5 senses.  They found buds and seedlings growing, mini beasts, bird nests and much, much more.  They could feel the warmth of the sun, smell flowers and hear birds singing which inspired them to write lovely poems.

As you can see from their cheery faces the children loved being outside and keeping themselves active and healthy at the same time.  There will be lots more of these experiences to come this term and we can’t wait to share our learning with you.
