As you can see different approaches have been taken to build bridges from spaghetti. We have shown creativity and determination during this process. We have shared ideas, worked cooperatively and had great fun.

As part of our health and well-being we pick someone to receive compliments from the whole class. This young man was delighted by the comments he received from his classmates.

P7 have improved their fitness and passing skills at Gaelic Football every week.  We are quicker, more alert and showing a competitive edge.

Primary 7 constructed bridges out of spaghetti in today’s STEM challenge. We worked together to build our bridge and then tested its strength by adding weight.  Our challenge was for our bridge to stand up for 2mins and we are delighted with the results.

For a bit of extra fun we used the airzooka to see how the bridge coped under further stress – wind. Still standing so all good.

More STEM fun in Primary 7 – Balloon Kebabs – not for those of a nervous disposition!

Primary 7 have been working on their entries to the Scottish Engineering Awards during STEM week. We were to answer the question “if I was an engineer I would” and have come up with some great ideas.  We have written our pitch letters and hope we are successful.

Gaelic football training is back underway for Primary 7. We are working well as a team and have picked up some great techniques.
