This week some of our Pr.6 and 7 pupils are off to York.  An exciting week lies ahead.  We will do our best to keep you up to date with pictures on twitter and the school blog.  Please remember to check daily.

Please note the school is closed to pupils on Thursday for elections. Holiday weekend – School closed Friday and Monday.

Entries for the children’s events for this year’s Monklands half marathon will close on Wednesday 8th May at 12 noon.

It will take place on Sunday 12th Many and there are three events for children to take part in:

*9.30 – 100m Toddler Dash (up to 5 years)

*9.40am – 400m (Primary 1 – Primary 4)

*10.00am – 1K (Primary 5  – Primary 7)

In addition to a jigsaw medal each child will receive a bottle of water and a piece of fruit at the finish line.  The event takes place at St.Ambrose High School.

Car parking stewards will be present to direct vehicles in the car park.
