Christmas Show – Evening Performance

Thank you for coming out tonight to see our Christmas performance of “we’re having fun at Christmas”. We certainly had fun and hope you did too.  We are so lucky at St Augustines to have such talented children who have worked so hard to prepare lines and learn songs.  Some photos are attached and more will follow after tomorrow afternoon.

What’s on This Week?

This week we have only a few days left to prepare for our Infant Nativity and Christmas Show.  Tickets have been selling fast with 2 tickets available for each child. Please note that on Tuesday and Wednesday any remaining/spare tickets will be available for general release. Please ensure you have secured your tickets.

CHRISTMAS SHOW – 7.00pm. All children to arrive for 6.30pm. Pr. 1 and 2 pupils need to be dropped off for 6.30pm as they require to get into costume etc.  The show will start promptly at 7.00pm.

Thursday Christmas Show – 1.00pm. Early lunch – 11.45 – 12.30.

PTA Christmas Stall

Our annual children’s PTA Christmas stall will take place on Monday 11th Dec.  The stalls will be open throughout the school day and will be selling a great variety of pocket money priced gifts.  Please remember to give your child some pocket money so they can make a purchase if they wish.

Supporting Lepra – Pr. 7

Our Pr.7 pupils and their parents worked together in partnership with St.Augustine’s Church to raise money for Lepra as part of their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  They helped run  the Fair that brought the parish community together to raise money for a very worthy cause.  A huge congratulations to everyone who supported this event.

Christmas Panto

The whole school will be leaving sharp on Thursday morning for the annual trip to Motherwell Concert Hall for the panto Jack and the Beanstalk.  Children are asked to wear their own clothes for this event.  Reindeer antlers and elf hats are all perfectly acceptable attire.  Please note no hot lunches will be served on Thursday.  Snack to go lunches will be available or pupils may bring a packed lunch.
