Christmas Concert
Wednesday afternoon saw our whole school perform to a packed hall of parents and grandparents. They were entertained by a thoroughly polished performance from our wonderfully talented Pr.1 and 2 pupils who performed their nativity Census Sums. They were amazing. Later our young musicians entertained followed by classes who sang a medley of carols and Christmas songs. We hope everyone left feeling full of the festive spirit. Our final performance takes place this evening. Below is our slideshow of highlights from Wednesday afternoon.
Christmas Concert
Our Infant Nativity ‘Census Sums’ takes place tomorrow afternoon and Thursday evening. Limited tickets remain available for the two performances. Children from Pr. 1 and 2 have been notified by letter in regard of what to wear for their performances. Pupils from Pr. 3 – 7 have been notified by their class teacher in regard of what to wear. If in doubt, please send your child to school in their uniform and they can bring along their own clothes for the afternoon performance (Christmas jumpers, bright clothes). We are looking forward to welcoming you to school over the next two days. Hopefully you will be filled with the Christmas Spirit if it has not struck you yet!!

The school has successfully secured funding from the National Lottery to help us address our playground and provide a variety of play equipment to meet the needs of children across the school. This money will be used alongside the outstanding sum of money currently raised by the PTA to improve our school grounds and make our playtimes happy times for everyone. Peer Mediators
Our Pr.7 Peer Mediators have been busy at work this week addressing playground disputes and encouraging pupils to resolve their differences. Well done boys and girls you are working hard to make a difference!
Daily Mile
Across the school many classes are engaging with the daily mile as a way of promoting and mantaining a healthy lifestyle. This has been of particular help over the last two weeks as the school hall is used for practices and social dancing. Primary 7 went outside for their daily mile then did some balance work with online resource Go Noodle. Healthy bodies, healthy minds.
Christmas Dinner
Many thanks to the Mrs.McKeown and the wonderful kitchen staff who pulled out all the stops today for a delicious Christmas Lunch. Most plates were wiped clean as everyone tucked into a plate of roast turkey or the most delicious steak pie.
