Please show consideration to pupils and parents and do not park on the zig zag lines around the school. They are there for the safety of all. Signage around the school acts as a reminder for all. Please park and stride – parking is available at the Time Capsule and St. Augustine’s Church Car park. There is plenty of parking available for all. It is not acceptable to drop off at the zig zags.
Please note the main entrance is not a drop off zone and all children are expected in the school yard for start of the day prayers that commence at 9.00am.
I would like to see the pupils taken straight into the school building when there is rain, snow, etc rather than standing outside getting soaked. Prayers could be done in the classroom when we have inclement weather. Rather that than the children sitting in wet clothes through the day. Thanks for considering this feedback.
Hello Elizabeth, I advise that parents do not drop their children off too early for school as there is not the means to supervise pupils unless they are outside. In very inclement weather we have not said prayers and are keen to get children indoors. We have to ensure the school is a safe environment for both pupils and staff and that we are mitigating risk as much as possible. I am sure you can appreciate the challenges.
