As always the school is looking forward to a busy week of events and activities. Our Enterprise Fortnight begins this week and will involve all classes in creating and producing products to sell at our Christmas Fayre on Sat.28th Nov.
On Monday our Pr.5 pupils will attend workshops in the newly re-furbished New Lanark College on Kildonan Street. The children will walk to the college at 9.10 and aim to return to the school in time for lunch at 12.35. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about skills for learning, life and work at the workshops they will attend.
OnTuesday Rooms 8 and 9 will attend Summerlee Heritage Museum as part of their studies on Coatbridge. Our cross country athletes will attend the first of the qualifiers at Coatbridge Outdoor Sports Centre at 9.45am.
On Wednesday our Young Leaders from Pr.7 will continue with their training. Mrs.Hanlon will attend training for the delivery of God’s Loving Plan.
On Friday we will have a whole school assembly which will involve the launch of the school travel plan. In the afternoon our Pupil Council have worked hard to audition and gather entries for a talent show.
