School Lunch Menu – 7th to 11th December 2015

Here is the school lunch menu for 7th to 11th December 2015.

Please note that Thursday 7th December is Christmas Lunch day.  The children should have already returned their order form to select either Turkey, Steak Pie, Vegetable Loaf or Snack2Go.  There will be no other options that day.  Any children who have not ordered a school lunch will have to bring a packed lunch.

On Monday morning, the children will be asked to give their lunch choice for both Monday and Tuesday to allow a quick departure for the Pantomime.  Please help your child to decide what they would like to order (Payment for lunches on Tuesday will be as normal).

New lunch ordering system

Autumn/Winter School Lunch Menu

From 19th October 2015, a new band system will be introduced for children who have school dinners.

Each morning in class, the children will select their dinner from a choice of a Main Meal (Option 1), Hot Snack (Option 2), Baked Potato (Option 3) or Snack2Go (Option 4). They will be given a coloured wristband to co-ordinate with this choice.

This system ensures children get their first choice of main meal.

The new school menu will be sent home tomorrow, which will be on a rolling 3-week basis. Your child can see what is on the menu in advance for each coloured band. Please take the time to plan ahead with your child so that they know what they would like to order in the morning.

Each meal comes with a choice of soup or desert or fruit and yoghurt, which the children will also pre-order with their meal selection.

Children from P4-7 who want the Snack2Go option must visit Breakfast Club to place their order.

Every week, the lunch menu will also be posted on the school Twitter feed (@staneprimary) and is also emailed to anyone who has subscribed at http://bit.ly/stane-email
