Our Transition Project

Primary 7 pupils from both St Lucy’s and St Margaret of Scotland have worked collaboratively to create podcasts and a website that promote the safe use of the Internet. We tried to talk and work with each other using GlowMeet but we had technical problems and it didn’t work very well. We are very proud of our work and we showcased it at at Our Lady’s High School.

Kilbowie

Primary 7  had a fantastic time at Kilbowie. Some of us made short recordings of our thoughts on the first couple of days. P6 Financial Education week

P6 had a visit from Cumbernauld Credit Union.  We were given different ways in which we could put our money away. We also learned how the interest rates are very favourable against a bank’s interest rates.

P6 Financial Education week

P6 thoroughly enjoyed Financial Education week.  We enjoyed our visit from the Royal Bank of Scotland who supported us in looking at Money Sense.  We had to look at how to organise and budget for a party! Not an easy job but we managed it and fedback our party information to our peers.

Solo Talks

Primary 7 have worked hard to plan and prepare their solo talks. These children were very keen to share their work and both myself and Mrs Schammas were very impressed with their presentations. We are both looking forward to hearing the rest of the class deliver their solo talks over the next week.
