P6 Financial Education week

P6 had a visit from Cumbernauld Credit Union.  We were given different ways in which we could put our money away. We also learned how the interest rates are very favourable against a bank’s interest rates.

P6 Financial Education week

P6 thoroughly enjoyed Financial Education week.  We enjoyed our visit from the Royal Bank of Scotland who supported us in looking at Money Sense.  We had to look at how to organise and budget for a party! Not an easy job but we managed it and fedback our party information to our peers.

P6 ICT

P6 were very successful when using the laptops.  We managed to create our own documents using word processing.  We are able to change the font size and colour and can add our own media.

P6 Podcast

P6 are enjoying using the i-pads to create podcasts.  They have managed to record us learning about fractions, decimals and percentages in class.  We are going to do much more of this!

P6 Art Attack

During ‘Read to Succeed Week’ , P6 were outside for ‘Art Attack’.  What a great imagination they have of the BFG ( Big Friendly Giant).  Apologies, not all photos would upload.

P6 Japan Studies

In our studies of Japan, we have created beautiful 3D pictures of the cherry blossom tree.  I was interviewed as to why we were doing artwork of these trees and how we would create them.  The childrens’ work can now be displayed on our walls.img_0743

P6 PE

Primary 6 have had a great time this morning as they experienced the gymnastic equipment.  They all adhered extremely well to my Health and Safety instructions and they can’t wait until their next gymnastic session on Thursday.  I can foresee some future gymnasts here!!
