Good morning – Keep Healthy

Good morning P1a

I hope you have enjoyed learning at home last week and had a go at some of the activities and grids I have on this Glow Page for you (don’t worry if you didn’t) you can continue with these activities this week also.

This week would have been Health week at Ladywell Primary so I thought it would be fun if you could try to do as many healthy things as you can.

Below you will find some super websites for exercises to do –

Jump Start Jonny (He is doing live sessions at 9am every morning, however you can watch at any time on youtube or his website)

www.jumpstartjonny.co.uk

Joe Wicks – The Body Coach – (He is also doing live sessions at 9am on his youtube channel every morning, again you can watch these back at a later time)

Cosmic Yoga – (you can access through youtube also or you can access through main website – 2 weeks free at the moment!)

Also, can you make a healthy meal this week at some point and send us your pictures on Twitter of you making it or eating it?

Draw some healthy fruit and vegetables and have a go at writing the names of them and have a go at this online game to make a healthy packed lunch.

Have a great week P1, stay safe, stay well, stay healthy and I am missing your little smiles lots and lots!

Oxford Owl eBooks

Hello Primary 1a,

This is a link to a website called Oxford Owl. On this website you can access lots of Oxford Reading Tree books that you can read.

Once you click on the link, there is a button to register at the top of the page. Register as a parent and this will give you access to the free eBook library. You can filter the books by age and find early readers that your child can read to you. Most of the books have guidance in the front cover and at the back on things you can ask your child before and after reading to develop comprehension skills.

* The site has been quite busy so may take a couple of attempts to access it.
