We had a lovely surprise from Santa this morning!  A big box arrived addressed to Primary 2.   When we opened it we found an Elf, a book and a movie.  As you can see in the pictures, we were so excited to find out Santa had sent us his favorite Elf  to spot acts of kindness in our class.  After much debate, and three rounds of voting, we named him Elfie.

It wasn’t long before Elfie was up to some mischief.  We found him hiding on top of the whiteboard after we came back from our Nativity rehearsal.   We think we might have our hands full with our Elfie!

The robots are finally finished and who would have thought we could have so much fun with it in other curricular areas too?!   First of all, we visited Pr. 3 to tell them how to make a robot.  Then, we wrote clear instructions for them using “first”, “then”, “after that”, “next” and “finally”.  We were so kind we also gave Pr. 3 our leftover material.   Let’s see how well they follow our instructions😃
