P6 First Blog: By Jake and Lauren

On Monday it was our second day at our fab school Orchard Primary.

In the morning we did drama, we had to act out what a good classmate is .Every group was excellent with their plays. We also wrote about our summer holidays, and created sunglasses to help us with our writing. At the end of day we did Jumpstart Johnny to We went to the new gym hall we had an amazing time playing octopus tig and other games.  We had good time with Mrs Davidson who played a dice and similarities game, we learned a lot about each other. On Wednesday we started doing an Olympic addition and subtraction booklet and learned new adjectives, we also learned about similes and metaphors we also started a jigsaw with what we would like to do our favourite thing to do and what we would like to. We had to complete this as a whole class using good group work which was hard! We looked at a video of how to draw the Olympic fire and we also looked at Olympic rings. On Friday we were finishing of our adjectives and looked at how the Olympics started and what they did for the Olympics. We started a personal athletes profile and we started to draw a portrait  of our selves, it was a great week! Check out our photos below….
