Orchard Primary & Nursery

A busy week in Primary 5!

This week has been very busy in P5! We have been taking part in athletics activities during PE time and used the pitches this week as the weather has been good.

Mrs Wilkinson was in yesterday and we had Kodaly with her – learning about musical notation and the positions they have on the stave.

Today the library bus came back and we all had a chance to look and and borrow a book.

We also had visitors from the nursery who came with an invitation to ask us to come and see the Chick eggs which they have and are looking after until they hatch. We went along this afternoon to see them and see a short presentation about what’s going on inside the eggs just now. The children in the nursery were helpful in informing the P5 pupils all about them!

In Maths we have been learning about Angles and everyone had the experience of seeing how to use a protractor to measure angles online on our Promethean board. This was a great activity which helped when we went off to complete some tasks on angles.

Tomorrow we look forward to the visit to see La Boheme in Glasgow…photos to follow for that!
