Orchard Primary & Nursery

P5 and the last week of term

I can’t quite believe it’s the last day of term before Easter holidays. It’s been such a fun, busy term.

Today in school we attended our Pupil Voice Groups and had also had the opportunity to watch the Nursery children in their Easter Bonnet Parade – they were all fantastic and looked great – well done everyone. The Primary pupils clapped and cheered as the parade passed through in the open areas and were really impressed with the Easter Bonnets.

In Primary 5 everyone has written their own acrostic Easter poem…here are just a few of them.

In RME this term, we have been learning about how different faiths celebrate weddings, and this week learned about Hindu weddings. We learned about and looked at Mehndi patterns online and then created our own. They look great.

I hope everyone has a very Happy Easter and enjoys the much deserved break.
See you all again soon P5 pupils! Stay safe and have fun!!
