Gender Stereotypes

This week, Mrs Bowden has been talking to the children in Primary 3,6 and 7 about gender stereotypes.

This morning, there was a very heated, fun and interesting debate in the Primary 7 classroom as the pupils wrote down words they associated with words ‘women’ ‘men’ ‘boys’ and ‘girls’.

We then watched a news programme about gender and toys, and Mrs Bowden set them off with a challenge before we meet again next week. Watch this space to see how our project develops.
