Today the pupils in Primary 5 carried out some real life Data Handling of their own. They asked all classes which type of smoothies people would be interested in buying this Friday when the Fairtrade Pupil Voice Group will be making and selling them.
P5 tallied up the responses and entered the data into frequency tables. In class we then collated all this information into a big frequency table which allowed us to work out how much fruit we will need to make the smoothies. we then used the information to answer some questions set by Mrs Weir.
The learning that has taken place in class recently linked to Data Handling was put to good use today!
