MONDAY
THE IRON MAN SIMILES
This week we started a class novel called The Iron Man. It is about a man made out of iron that walks of a cliff and his body fell apart. To gulls find him and helped him get back together.
Similes to describe Iron Man:
- As tall as a giant
- As smelly as a sock
- As hot as an oven
- As cold as ice
- As strong as metal
SOCIAL DANCING
For Christmas dancing we do social dancing so on Monday we started to it. We learnt the dance Dashing white Sargent. It took us a long time to do it, but we are great now!
Tuesday
More social dancing
This time instead of the dancing white Sargent we done the Canadian barn dance. It was also very Fun!!!!!
Metalinguistics
we looked at Metalinguistics in our new book .We are looking at this book as a whole class text for to Christmas time.Our new book is called the iron Man. It is very exciting!
WEDNESDAY
MATHS
In maths we did an assessment on money. Because of our Christmas fair that was on Friday we practiced giving money out, receiving change.
We are also looking at special offers like ‘Buy one, get one half price’, ‘Three for Two’ and ‘Buy one get one free’. Sometimes it is tricky to work it out, but we just need to take our time and READ the question 🙂
