This morning we further developed our data handling skills. We were each given a small box of Smarties. We counted the different colours of Smarties in our own boxes and recorded the results using tally marks. We then used this information and displayed it in our own bar chart. We completed the task so well that Mrs Johnstone let us eat the Smarties after our lunch…yum!!
Anya – “We counted the smarties and made a bar chart with our results.”
Cameron V – “We used the Smarties to see how many of each colour there was then we wrote tally marks for each one.”
