Primary 3 were learning about Fairtrade products this afternoon. We learned that buying something with the Fairtrade logo means the farmers are given a fair price for their product and they will have better working conditions. The boys and girls knew that Cadbury’s chocolate had the Fairtrade logo and they were looking forward to finding other Fairtrade products on their next visit to the supermarket.
Aleah – When I go to the supermarket I am going to ask my mum if I can get something with the Fairtrade logo on it.
Katelyn – I will go to a shop and try to find a Fairtrade product.
Cameron V – I hope the farmers could get more money for their children to let them go to school.
