P1 have been so busy over the past couple of weeks! We are enjoying using the Music Room – our favourite songs are the Monster Song and the Boing song.

We have been learning about different kinds of lines in Art – we can draw wavy, zig-zag, straight, castle, swirly, checked, diagonal and many more types of lines. We used as many as we could to decorate our fairy tale castles and we designed new dungarees for the 3 Little Pigs.

In Maths we have been learning about 2-D shapes and patterns. We can use some of these shapes to make pictures and new patterns of our own. We have been learning how to count and write the numbers up to 7.

We were very excited to have a Troll visit us to help tell the story of the 3 Billy Goats Gruff. Our Dragon, Puff is much happier now we have lots of friends from Fairyland for him to play with!
