Roald Dahl afternoon in P3

This afternoon Primary 3 watched a live stream session of celebrations for what would have been Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday today! Children from all over the world were tuned in to find out more about the famous author, discover where he got his story and character inspirations from and to watch a fantastic live performance from the cast of the musical ‘Matilda.’ Primary 3 even got to ‘draw along’ with Quentin Blake who is the illustrator for all but one of Roald Dahl’s books. The children really enjoyed drawing an Oompa Loompa just like they are in the book. If you see any of us around school, ask us to show you how to draw one! Here is a photograph of Primary 3 eagerly waiting for the live stream to begin!

We hope to show you our Oompa Loompa pictures once we have coloured them in!
