P6 blog by Emma and Angel

In Health and Wellbeing we were looking at bullying and how it could affect us.

We designed and cut little people. Afterword’s we sat in a circle and we passed our little mini us around and one by one we tore little rips into our mini people. There were some people’s heads fell off and arms. This represented people bullying, or saying and doing hurtful things and how if you hurt someone you can’t fix what you have done completely. After this we created a bullying drama in small collaborative groups together, it was lots of fun! We also designed anti bullying posters telling you what to do and what not. P6 are working hard, here are some of the things we have worked on…

On Monday and Tuesday we were doing circuits in P.E and learning about fitness. We have to work very very hard!! Its tougher than it looks J

Like sit ups star jumps push ups, mountain climb, skipping, sprinting and step ups.

As our topic we are doing the Olympics. We have made a Rio Olympics 2016 wall full with medals and the Olympic rings  there is also some Olympic flames that we copied from teacher tube witch is like you tube but for teachers it was really fun and creative . Afterword’s we put words that described the Olympic flames around the sketch it looks really epic. We have added a picture of our beautiful display below.

In math we are doing revision of multiplication, addition and subtraction and time

We are doing little Rio booklets with math in them it is really fun because we got to colour them in , I think that all of the class enjoyed colouring the Christ the redeemer statue in.

There was also a tester for the woodwind instrumental group

Five or so people go into the high schools and practice different musical instruments and learn all about them.

We are looking forward to welcoming in our parents on Thursday to share our learning!
