Nursery Week Ending 12th May

While developing imaginative play the children were involved in making a train, which they then used in the nursery setting. This also developed our understanding of money and its uses through the introduction of train tickets.

Some children visited the Cultural Centre in Bellshill on the train this week, while others went on a bus trip to Newarthill or Motherwell Library. Both groups had the opportunity to have snack elsewhere, once again enhancing our knowledge of using money.

More interest was shown in the transport models with the introduction of clay. As you can see the children were very creative.

While the weather holds up we will be making more use of the outdoors while we await the completion of our new area.
