Mr James Greechin, NSSP Choral Director for the Diocese of Motherwell, works with Cathedral’s Primary 4 pupils every Thursday morning. The weekly music lessons have a blend of interactive games, preparation of music for school and parish liturgies and the teaching of secular songs.

Mr Greechin also coaches and directs our school choir. Open to Primary 5 – 7 pupils, Cathedral school choir rehearses weekly during the school day and sings at various school, parish and diocesan liturgies and events. The photograph below shows the choir singing at a special Mass in Glasgow University Memorial Chapel on Friday 20th September 2024 to mark the 25th anniversary of the School of Education.
