Our Lady of Good Aid Cathedral Primary School

Programme of events for 150th anniversary almost finalised

As newsfeed readers will know, Cathedral school and parish will celebrate an incredible 150 years next year. Our most recent Smart School Council meetings generated some fantastic ideas to mark our special year from pupils and staff and, this weekend, House Captains will gather further ideas from parishioners after Sunday Mass.

The Smart School Council Action Board has been updated with three action points:

  • Mr Young to meet with Fr Lamb to finalise programme
  • House Captains to gather ideas from parishioners at Mass on Sunday 3rd November
  • Teachers and pupils to discuss and agree on ideas for a 2025 mini topic about the history of Cathedral school and parish

All going well, a full programme of events will be finalised and published early next week. What an exciting year it’s going to be here at Cathedral!
