The Ignite Chaplaincy Team recently entered a national competition hosted by the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland, inviting schools to design a garden that celebrates and protects God’s creation. We are incredibly proud to announce that our team was selected as the national winner, securing a £250 prize fund to help bring their inspiring vision to life.

The planned garden will be much more than a beautiful outdoor space. It will serve as a place for prayer, reflection, learning and appreciation of the natural world. The design celebrates God’s creation, honours St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology and the environment and pays tribute to our own patron saint, Our Lady of Good Aid.

We look forward to sharing updates as this exciting vision begins to take shape and to seeing the garden become a lasting legacy for our school community.
