The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is an important international agreement in which countries commit to protecting and promoting children’s rights.

At Cathedral Primary, we have been embedding the UNCRC articles into the daily life and work of our school for a number of years, and this was highlighted as a strength in our inspection report.

Many congratulations to Mrs Shevlin and our Rights Respecting Schools team for working with the Cathedral school community to achieve the Silver Award. This is a fantastic accomplishment and reflects the dedication and commitment shown across our whole school community to children’s rights.
