Primary 6 transported families back thousands of years on Friday 13th March with a vibrant and engaging learning showcase all about the Ancient Egyptians. The afternoon was packed with fascinating facts and creative performances, as pupils shared their knowledge through confident speeches, expressive acting, energetic dancing, and a selection of fun, catchy songs that had the audience smiling throughout.
One of the standout moments of the showcase was the demonstration on mummification. Pupils explained the process with impressive clarity—and plenty of humour—before inviting some brave parents to take part.
A huge thank you goes to Mrs McCulloch, Mrs Callaghan, and Mrs McMillan, whose hard work and enthusiasm prepared the children so well for their big day.
