All Primary 7 Cathedral pupils had the opportunity to gain the Level 1 Bikeability Award during week beginning Monday 27th March . The input, delivered by our Active Schools Co-ordinator, Fiona Russell, took place in the playground and covered a number of skills:

• Maintaining your bike: making sure your ride is in tip-top condition and make simple repairs
• Controlling your bike: setting off, cruising, slowing down, braking and stopping.
• Being aware of your surroundings: looking behind and turning around obstacles.

Pupils were awarded a certificate and badge upon completion of the course.
