Good morning boys and girls,

How are we all today? I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Did you do anything nice? This weekend, we tried Archie’s new reins that is a little dinosaur rucksack. I have added a picture below. This week you have a Spelling, Sumdog and new Epic Reading activities. I also have added a link for some virtual trips that you may want to go on!

You can also try to think of a cool spelling of your own or try spelling them out with daisies or stones or pasta.

Well done to those of you who have completed last week’s Epic Reading task. I have attached new tasks below on the book ‘Finding Home’. I hope you have enjoyed having a book to read! Remember you can pick different books to read too. You could maybe do a ten minute silent read like what we did in class after our lunch.

Epic Reading

On Sumdog, I have set Probability Competition for Maths and an Adjective Check Up. I am so proud of all of your efforts!

Newsround have lots of interactive Quizzes that you can do! It would be great to hear what ones you do on Microsoft Teams.

Since we cannot go on our school trip this year as we normally would I found a link that lets you choose a virtual trip! Hopefully this will brighten up your day and allow you to experience different trips.

From these trips you could do the following activities-
• Create a brochure
• Design an advertising poster
• Create a quiz about the place that you have visited
• Make a fact file about the place you have visited
• Create a piece of artwork inspired by the place you visited
• Write a recount of your visit
• Write something new you have learned from your trip
• Plan your trip – what do you think you will need to take with you?

I hope you have a great week and I am looking forward to seeing where some of you go on a virtual trip!
