We have been looking at Non -Fiction books about growing, plants and spring time. You could try borrowing some from our ever busy Lending Library. Talk with your child about what you can see in the pictures or what new facts they have learned. Have you ever seen any of them before? Can you see any of them as you walk to Nursery or when you are out and about? Mrs Cumming has chatted with the children about their interests and made some more exciting rhyme prop bags for you to enjoy at home, here is one child’s rhyme review of The Grand Old Duke of York.
“My favourite part was singing with the soldiers.”
It was awarded 5 stars and the drawing on the sheet was brilliant. Well Done! Please take a moment to look at the Literacy children’s reviews.
As it is spring time we have created a fantasy fairy area in our outdoor space, we have been creating our own imaginative stories. As a treat we have put out our well loved goal posts and these have supported good team play and kind, encouraging language to be spoken. Well Done!
Here are some pictures of us planting our potatoes.
