Riverside Museum and Tall Ship Visit – 1/10/18

The children enjoyed a full day trip to The Riverside Museum and The Tall Ship as part of their learning about ‘Transport.’  It was a successful and enjoyable day and the children learned so many wonderful things.    They really had the opportunity to see just how much transport has changed over the years.  We travelled there and back by minibus.

Some of the things the children shared about their experience

“Liked the big bus.”    “I like the cars and the campervan, it had a couch and a cooker.”

“Liked the cars and fire engines.”     “On the ship we crossed a bridge.”

“I liked the big tall bus.”     “I liked the fire engine, ladder and a hose.  Ladder went up the top.”

“Seen boats.”     “Seen an aeroplane.”     “On the ship we seen a bell, we ringed it.”    Like the police car.”

“We seen the engine that makes the boat go.”     “I liked the bug with the big wheels.”

“I liked the big huge train and I liked the wheels.”     “On the riverboat we seen beds for the pirates.”

“There was a softplay.”     “Liked the trains.”
